Could you tell us about your career before joining the company?

After graduating from high school, I worked in various part-time and full-time jobs across different industries. I always wanted to work with computers, so I searched online and discovered the job of an engineer, which piqued my interest. That’s how I met the representative of Tech Reis, learned programming from him, and transitioned into an engineering career.

Why did you decide to join Tech Reis?

I decided to join because of the representative’s great personality! He not only taught me about working as an engineer and programming but also seriously considered my career plan and future. I was drawn to his values and vision. I believe that who you work with is more important than where you work, so I joined Tech Reis.

What are some of the recommended points or attractive aspects of Tech Reis?

The large degree of autonomy for engineers is a big plus. They propose projects that suit me and listen to my requests, so I can work on projects I am interested in! I tend to work too much and accumulate unused vacation days, but they encourage me to take my vacation, showing that they care about my well-being.

What kind of people do you think match well with Tech Reis?

I think it’s a good match for people who want to take initiative. It’s also recommended for those who seriously think about their career plans and future.

Why did you decide to become an engineer?

I always wanted to work with computers since I was a child. While searching for computer-related jobs online, I became interested in engineering. I was good at math, and when I started learning basic programming, I found it surprisingly enjoyable and felt it suited me. Additionally, I was attracted to the flexible working style of engineers, which led me to pursue a career in this field.

Honestly, are you glad you became an engineer? Please tell us why.

Yes, I am glad! Besides the relatively free working style, the biggest difference from other industries is that the skills and technologies you work with become valuable assets. The more you work, the more experience you gain, which becomes a lifelong asset.

Compared to your previous job, do you find it easier to work as an engineer?

Yes, it is much easier! Currently, I am involved in a fully remote development project and appreciate the flexibility in adjusting working hours. Without the need for commuting, I have more time to study technology and enjoy my personal life, leading to a fulfilling lifestyle!

Could you tell us about the project and tasks you are currently handling?

I am currently working on the front-end development of a SaaS application for electronic notebooks. I use React and TypeScript, and the development is primarily component-based using SCSS and Storybook.

Could you tell us about your daily routine?

The project team has a meeting at 9:30 AM to confirm the tasks for the day. Then, each member works on their assigned tasks. I usually finish my work around 6:30 PM and report the day’s progress to the client before ending the day.

What do you value in your work, and what is something you absolutely cannot compromise on?

Building and improving development skills!

What do you value most in system development?

Learning from the code written by other engineers and continuously absorbing new technologies!

How do you perceive the atmosphere of Tech Reis' career advisors from an engineer's perspective?

They are very friendly and easy to talk to!

Please passionately talk about something you are currently obsessed with!

Improving my skills as an engineer! Being able to do things I couldn’t before builds confidence!

If you have any vision for the future (career or lifestyle goals), please share them with us.

I aim to become a full-stack engineer. Currently, I mainly work on front-end development, but I want to acquire back-end and infrastructure development skills in the future to be able to develop web services and systems independently.

Do you have any message for those who want to work as engineers?

At first, there may be many things you don't understand, but if you continue learning, you'll be able to see the logic and flow of programs more clearly. When you reach that point, writing code becomes more enjoyable, and programming will feel more approachable. It's okay to take breaks when it gets tough, and it's important to learn at your own pace. Changing your learning environment or finding peers to study with can also be helpful. If you ever feel uncertain about your career or future, you might want to consult with the representative of Tech Reis. Good luck!

Lastly, do you have any final words?

We welcome enthusiastic people!
