I worked for an SIer company for about three years.

I had known the person who introduced the project for a long time, which gave me a sense of security.

Yes, I am glad. I wanted to work from home and found a project that met my expectations.

Why did you decide to become a freelance engineer?

I thought it would offer various ways of working. For example, if I wanted to take a long vacation, I could adjust my schedule myself, and I could also choose projects that matched the skills I wanted to develop.

Compared to your previous job, do you find it easier to work as a freelance engineer?

Yes. I feel it is easier to work both mentally and physically because I can choose my work content and workplace, and it is easier to change projects compared to being a full-time employee.

Could you tell us about the project and tasks you are currently handling?

I am in charge of designing and building the Azure infrastructure. For the company I am working with, I am responsible for identifying the restrictions and features they want to provide when leasing Azure environments internally, designing based on those requirements, and conducting construction and testing.

Could you tell us about your daily routine?

After sending a check-in email, I check emails and other communications. Then, I attend meetings about the design, create design documents, and carry out construction and testing.
