Letter from CEO
A place where skill is evaluated honestly, in the AI era.
I came from a software development role at a large electronics company, then went freelance. The trigger to start Tech Reis was a friend, an engineer, who was breaking down physically and mentally in a tough work environment but couldn't quit because he had to live.
I told him "there are other ways to work" — and that conversation was the start. As more support was asked of me, I felt the limits of what one person could do alone, and incorporated. The starting point of Tech Reis is exactly that sense of urgency.
I take the words of Soseki Natsume, sokuten kyoshi ("follow heaven, leave self behind"), as my axis. What can I do, not for myself, but for others? It tells me which way to go in the hardest moments.
Tech Reis is built on a simple belief: when skilled people are in a fair environment and can move forward correctly, their income should rise, they should be able to take time off, and they should have discretion in their work. So we don't hide our rates, we respect the freedom to choose projects, and we provide a place to acquire the skills the AI era demands.
If this resonates, please come and talk to us once. We want you to choose by people, not by company.
